My Teaching Approach
My teaching methodology is student-centered, patient, and practical. I first assess the student's current level and then create lessons according to their individual needs and learning pace.
During lessons, I focus on:
Step-by-step learning so students can understand each concept clearly.
Correct pronunciation (Makharij) and proper articulation of Arabic letters.
Practical Tajweed application while reading the Quran.
Listening and correction, where I carefully listen to the student's recitation and point out mistakes in a supportive manner.
Regular revision to help students retain what they have learned.
Practice and repetition to build fluency and confidence.
Simple explanations of Tajweed rules instead of overwhelming students with difficult terminology.
Interactive activities and questions to keep lessons engaging, especially for younger students.
Progress tracking so students and parents can see improvement over time.

A typical lesson lasts 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the student's age, level, and learning goals.

Assalamu Alaikum!
My name is Aamna Faisal, and I am a dedicated and patient Quran teacher from Pakistan. I am passionate about helping students learn the Quran correctly, improve their Tajweed, and develop a strong and meaningful connection with the Quran.
I teach Quran Reading (Nazra), Noorani Qaida, Tajweed, Quran memorization support, and basic Islamic studies. I teach in English and Urdu, and I welcome both beginners and students who want to improve their existing Quran recitation.
I have completed a one-year Islamic Deen course covering Tajweed, Tafseer, and Seerah, as well as a six-month Tajweed course from Al Itqan Institute, Egypt. I have also completed additional Islamic studies at Al Shifa Islamic Centre. Alongside my Islamic education, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, which has strengthened my communication, organization, and online teaching skills.
I believe learning the Quran should be a comfortable and encouraging experience. I am patient with my students and understand that everyone learns at a different pace. My aim is to help students become confident in their recitation while developing love and respect for the Quran.
