About Walker
I am a committed piano tutor with over 10 years of teaching experience, working with school students, college learners, and working professionals. I enjoy helping students learn piano in a simple and structured way. My goal is to make every lesson clear, engaging, and useful.
My teaching approach focuses on communication, patience, and step-by-step learning. I first understand the student’s level and goals, then create a personalised plan. I focus on building strong basics, including hand position, rhythm, and note reading, before moving to advanced skills.
Along with piano, I also teach music theory, ear training, and rhythm practice. These subjects help students understand music better and improve their performance. I include exercises and song practice to make lessons interesting.
My strength is making learning easy and stress-free. I guide students on regular practice, time management, and improving confidence. I also help them develop good habits that support long-term learning.
I believe in creating a positive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable. My aim is to help students enjoy music and grow with confidence.

My teaching methodology is engaging, motivational, and adaptive. I believe that learning piano should be a positive and inspiring experience, combining technical development with creative expression. Through open communication, I learn about each student’s goals, learning preferences, and challenges, allowing me to create lessons that are personalised, effective, and enjoyable.
I emphasise creativity by encouraging students to improvise, experiment, and compose their own music. This helps them build confidence and develop a personal connection to music. Flexibility ensures that lessons are tailored to each student’s pace, skill level, and learning style, making progress consistent and enjoyable.
In addition to piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training, providing students with a strong foundation in both technical skill and musical understanding. My aim is to inspire students to become confident, expressive, and lifelong musicians who love learning and performing music.
