About Matteo
I am an experienced piano tutor with more than 9 years of teaching experience, working with school students, college learners, and professionals. I believe that anyone can learn piano with the right guidance and consistent practice.
My teaching style is based on communication, flexibility, and encouragement. I understand that each student has different goals, so I customize my lessons to suit their needs. I focus on building a strong foundation in basics and then gradually help students improve their skills and confidence.
In addition to piano, I also teach music theory, rhythm training, ear training, and basic composition. These help students understand how music works and improve their overall performance. I use simple explanations, practical exercises, and real-life examples to make learning easy.
My unique ability is to break down complex topics into small, simple steps. I also help students develop discipline, time management, and effective practice habits. For busy professionals, I offer structured yet flexible learning plans.
I always try to create a friendly and supportive environment where students feel motivated to learn. My aim is not just to teach piano but to inspire students to enjoy music and continue learning with confidence.

I encourage students to communicate their goals, reflect on progress, and discuss challenges, fostering a collaborative and interactive learning environment. Supportiveness is central—I guide students through difficulties, celebrate milestones, and help them develop self-confidence and resilience.
This methodology also applies to other subjects I teach, including music theory, composition, and beginner improvisation. My aim is to provide a positive and motivating environment where students grow musically, creatively, and personally, building both skill and a lifelong love for learning.
