About Michael Fr
Hello! I am a passionate chess player with a 1600 FIDE international rating and years of experience playing competitive chess. My goal as a coach is to help students build confidence, strategic thinking, and a deep love for the game.
I have trained many beginners and young players, turning complex chess concepts into easy and enjoyable lessons. I believe that patience, structured practice, and positive encouragement are key to rapid improvement.
Beyond chess moves, I help my students develop critical skills such as patience, focus, and problem-solving that benefit them both on and off the board. I look forward to helping you start your chess journey!

My lessons are tailored to help beginners and kids build a solid foundation in chess. As an active rated player with 1600 FIDE rating, I focus on making learning structured, interactive, and fun.
In our sessions, we will cover key chess fundamentals, including basic rules, opening principles, tactical patterns like forks and pins, board vision, and endgame techniques.
I use interactive boards on Lichess and Chess.com, analyzing games step by step and solving puzzles together to boost critical thinking and decision-making skills. Whether you want to play casually or start competing in local tournaments, I will guide you patiently to achieve your goals!
