About LINDA
Hello, My name is Linda and I am a native English speaker. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Education and my major subjects are English and Biology. I have been teaching English professionally for 7 years now at a private school in South Africa. I have been enjoying the experience ever since.
I have enjoyed teaching students who are passionate, determined and keen to learn the English language.
I have 7 years teaching experience in English. I am also a certified TEFL tutor. I have been teaching small and large numbers of learners in a classroom setting face to face.
Due to English being a medium of instruction in a country I live in, I have become fluent in conversational English which means I speak the language on a daily basis and I also understand how difficult and tricky the language can be especially if you are a foreigner trying to get your message across.
In my different classrooms, I have also focused on teaching grammar, creative writing, pronunciation, articulation and conversational English.
I have had the opportunity to teach primary school kids (5-8yrs), intermediate kids, senior phase students, high school learners and also adults in my extra classes.

In my classroom we are going to learn the English language at your own pace. We are going to use the learner-centered approach which makes the learner responsible and accountable for what goes on in the classroom.
My lessons will be aimed at Primary, Intermediate, Senior and High school learners. our lessons are going to be fun and creative but most importantly conducive to achieving our main goals.
