About Salim

I am a certified and experienced Computer Studies and ICT tutor with over five years of teaching experience working with junior and senior secondary school students, as well as teenagers and adults seeking practical digital skills.

I hold a Bachelor of Technology (Second Class Upper) in Management Information Technology, a Professional Diploma in Education from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and I am a registered teacher with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). These qualifications, combined with my classroom and online teaching experience, enable me to deliver lessons that are both academically sound and practically relevant.

I teach Computer Studies and ICT in line with approved curricula, support students with exam preparation, and also help learners build digital literacy and basic computing skills for everyday and professional use. My teaching approach is patient, structured, and learner-focused, ensuring that concepts are explained clearly and understood thoroughly.

In my online lessons, I create a supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to ask questions, practice regularly, and build confidence in their abilities. I am committed to professionalism, punctuality, and helping every student achieve measurable improvement.

About the lesson

My lessons are structured, practical, and learner-centered designed to help students understand concepts clearly and apply them with confidence. I adapt my teaching approach to suit each learner’s level, pace, and goals.

Teaching method and techniques:
I combine clear explanations with guided practice and real-life examples. Lessons include demonstrations, interactive discussions, and hands-on exercises to reinforce understanding. I encourage questions and continuous feedback to ensure no concept is left unclear.

Typical lesson structure:
Each lesson begins with a brief review of previous topics, followed by the introduction of new concepts explained step by step. Practical examples and exercises are then used to strengthen understanding. At the end of the lesson, key points are summarized, and assignments or practice tasks are given where necessary.
