About Limeze

I lectured Bookkeeping to Trial Balance, on a part time basis, at a FET college over a period of 4 years. I taught an average of 160 adult learners over that period, two classes per year, with an overall 90% success rate. I am aware of at least one of these learner's that studied further to become a Technical Accountant, and the majority were successful in obtaining better positions in the field. I have 13+ years of practical experience as a full time Bookkeeper and over 200 hours of private tutoring. My role as Bookkeeper was accompanied by other roles viz. office manager, administration manager, salaries and wages, etc.
I am certified for Bookkeeping to Trial Balance as well as Financial Accounting.

About the lesson

I love the art of all things. I teach Bookkeeping to whoever wants to learn, every person needs to know how to take care of their finances, young and old. Bookkeeping is the Art of recording transactions, in the workplace or at home. we all record our life events with pictures and videos, why not our financial transactions. My method of teaching this particular subject, is a relaxed, "pull-push" method. I "pull" information about what the learner knows and understands. I "push" the learner to expand their knowledge and to execute correctly. This is not one of the most exciting subjects to teach or learn, so I try to make my tutoring as interesting and as fun as possible, using everyday terms and examples that the learner can relate to. I enjoy adding color to a grey world.
