I'm looking to tutor because I want to help students achieve their full potential academically, but also gain skills and knowledge that will help them execute their most ambitious creative ideas.
I want to help young artists realise their specialisms and discover different pathways that they might not have been exposed to otherwise.

About the lesson

In our lessons we will cover core art principles, colour theory, composition, drawing techniques (measuring, grid method, human proportions etc.), printing techniques (lino, monoprinting etc.), sculpting with clay, selecting the right art materials, how to photograph and edit your work, how to write and talk about your work and how to analyse art.
We will explore your interests and potential pathways, and if you find something you want to specialise in we will focus on skills relevant to that specialism.
Lessons will generally last an hour, some sculpting and printing lessons will last two hours.
For in-person lessons I will bring the required materials.
I have an A-level and a foundation diploma in art and design (earning a grade A and distinction respectively) and am currently completing a BA in ceramic design at central saint Martins.
