About Verhoeff

My greatest passion is travelling, and I have been fortunate enough to visit many wonderful countries around the world. I particularly enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and cultures, learning about their experiences, and discovering new perspectives. I also love going to the theatre, reading, and listening to a wide variety of music. I am naturally curious about the world and enjoy learning new things, which I believe helps me connect with people from all walks of life.
I am a dedicated, reliable and punctual teacher who takes pride in delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs. My excellent communication skills help me build positive relationships with students and create a supportive learning environment where they feel confident and motivated.

About the lesson

I am a dedicated, enthusiastic and experienced English teacher with 26 years in education, including 11 years specialising in English as a Foreign Language. My CELTA qualification, combined with my extensive experience teaching students aged 4 to 70, has given me a strong understanding of effective teaching methodology and how to adapt lessons to different ages, abilities and learning needs.

I pride myself on creating engaging, interactive lessons in a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and building confidence. My strong communication skills help me develop positive relationships with students from diverse cultural backgrounds. I am reliable, patient and professional, and I take pride in helping learners improve their fluency and achieve their goals. I am passionate about making learning enjoyable and effective, and I continually strive to develop my teaching skills to ensure every student receives the best possible learning experience.
