About Wing Yan
Having started cello teaching since high school, I have plenty of experience and passion in teaching. I believe that you can work smarter, not harder (with the right technique)! I have great adaptability in learning as well as teaching methods and have developed my own way of efficient learning. I hope I can help you with developing your own as well! I have completed an AMEB certificate of cello performance and have had experience in orchestras for more than 6 years. I am also fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.

I teach students to work smarter, not harder. Struggling with techniques or trying to learn a new piece? I've got you covered. I offer an interactive environment and with lessons catering to each student's needs, be it exam preparations, auditions, performances, or just for fun. I aim to guide students to learn proactively and develop their own style of playing. Lessons can be in ENGLISH, MANDARIN, or CANTONESE.
Only offering 60 mins lessons for beginners. (negotiable for online lessons)
Practice companion service- I do not teach as in typical classes. Instead, I act as an accountability partner and a motivator. In each session, I will practice with you and give you advice or extra tips and tricks to work towards what your teacher or what you want to achieve. Session length: 30/45/60 mins (available for beginner to advance levels)
