About Olivia
I have prior teaching experience with individual and group lessons, and have worked professionally as a cellist with the West Valley Symphony. This upcoming year, I will begin my 3rd year of studies at Manhattan School of Music (BM), and my teaching style focuses on creating healthy playing habits to avoid injuries, while providing constructive and intentional feedback to help students advance their playing.

Each lesson will be catered towards every student’s individual needs, but will generally focus on building upon foundational cello techniques while encouraging conversations about different musical ideas and phrasings. We will also work through solo repertoire, as well as anything needed for each student, such as help for auditions, performances, etc.
I offer both in person and online lessons, with the first trial lesson for free, as I feel it helps to see if the students feel it is a good fit! :)
