I approach each topic by starting with questioning, what about this concept is unclear? What would you want to know more about? This is where conceptual connections form, identifying these areas of confusion, critique, or analysis. I also encourage students to be creative. Learning should be a collaborative process. Let's say memorization is hard for a student and outlining or flashcards do not do enough, maybe creating a poem or putting it to the tune of music can help make it easier to remember.

Details
I do ask that you provide 24-hour cancellation notice. I also ask that any travel more than half an hour be compensated with $5 per/hr increase in my hourly fee to cover the additional travel expense.
