About Ryan
I operate with professional etiquette, respect, and boundaries. I always will take into account the needs and anxieties of my students. Being 24 years old myself, and having attended UToronto after High School for Math Specialist (a program offered by the Faculty of Arts & Sciences); I've learned a lot about how different students adapt and mature in the learning process. My experience with The Study Studio and Tutor Doctor Toronto North West as well as my separate business on Fiverr has shown me how to document, log, and track progress. I'm always transparent, and patient with my students, if we do not understand something and we repetitively try a concept that is challenging (e.g., factoring polynomials), then we simply move on and log it into our future goal-setting. Your academic success becomes my personal mission.

I like to be time conscientious during my lessons. For example, a 1-hour session of learning may include a 10-minute recap (casual conversation) of what was discussed or needs to be addressed, no expectations, a 30-minute focus period where we tackle what needs to be addressed, and a 10-minute quiz or challenge section at the end. The last 10 minutes would thus be used for goal-setting and future directions of where you are and where you want to go; summarizing a full 60 minutes of engaged learning and Pomodoro breaks if necessary, for your maximum understanding and retention of skills necessary to shine bright and positively in your own unique way of learning which I adapt for all my students.
