With 15 years of dedicated training in Carnatic music, I am committed to helping students build a strong foundation in classical vocal music through structured and personalized lessons. My teaching approach combines traditional methods with patient guidance, ensuring that each student progresses with confidence and clarity. I focus on developing pitch accuracy, rhythm, voice culture, and a deep understanding of Carnatic music. My teaching approach combines traditional Carnatic music principles with a structured and student-friendly methodology.
My lessons begin with voice culture exercises, shruti alignment, and basic swara practice to strengthen pitch accuracy and vocal control. Depending on the student's level, I then introduce or reinforce concepts such as sarali varisai, janta varisai, alankaras, geethams, varnams, kritis, raga understanding, and tala practice.
What sets me apart is my focus on building strong fundamentals, individual attention, and adapting lessons to each student's learning pace and goals.
My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.
