About Sahitya
Namaste! I am Sahitya, a passionate Carnatic and Hindustani vocalist with over 20 years of learning and 5 years of teaching experience. Music has been my companion since childhood, and I have trained under Smt. Saroja Srinivasan (Disciple of Late, ML Vasanthakumari) and few more renowned gurus in the traditional guru-shishya parampara.
What sets me apart is my background as a professional educator and coach. I hold an M.Sc. degree and have worked as a Subject Matter Expert, Trainer, and Facilitator for healthcare professionals. I bring the same structured, goal-oriented approach to my music classes.

You will learn to sing the various raga structures and the flow of Carnatic Music
You will learn to sing Khayal, Raag based swaralankars, aalapanas, dhrut khayal, Taal, Ghazal, Bhajans.
While you learn through this journey, you will learn the techniques to modulate your vocals for different forums of singing, right from stage programs to voice recording theaters.
I have performed various Carnatic and Hindustani styled singing on stages with crowd gathering, sang in various recordings of playback singing, received certificates and laurels on the same. I have been trained in this field for more than 20 years. As a tutor, I have 5 years of experience through online and offline teaching, both group & One to One.
