About Cathy

Career music educator with experience in private and public schools, Studio Owner/instructor, Music Minister/Choir director in churches from Arizona to Iowa and active performer. Piano study from age 3. Bachelor's degree and proud member of Federated Music Teachers.

About the lesson

I teach on an individualized basis. Each student learns differently and at their own pace. Thus, needing a personalized approach. I specialize and have written my own method on learning chording and believe all piano students should learn both this and notation in order to be able to apply their skills to a variety of musical genres and settings.
