About Valeria
I have a degree in Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience, with a thesis on animal cognition.
I have been riding horses for as long as I can remember, starting at an equestrian center in Milan where I did show jumping.
In 2020 I discovered the Parelli method and I never looked back! I attended many courses with Italian Parelli Instructors (including Franco Giani, Sergio Matteoni, and Pat Parelli himself!), until I decided to do a two-month experience as a Working Student with Caterina Bencini, in Florence. In those months I achieved level 3 Parelli (Online, Freestyle and Liberty).
In September I became a basic instructor for ENGEA (National Agency for Environmental Equestrian Guides) and I started the international course to become animal osteopath for horses and dogs!
My goal is simple: I want to see happy horses! and I want to teach people how to make their horses happy!

Two lessons are never the same. Each lesson must be calibrated according to the objectives and abilities of the duo.
I often use the Parelli Levels Checklist as a reference to track the path we have taken together.
Whatever the final goal is, whether going for a walk, playing at liberty, or riding by collar, I always try to get there by listening to the horse and rider and making things as natural and simple as possible!
