About Charlie
Hey guys / girls, My name's Charlie, I'm 19, I'm bilingual and I study at Coventry University. I've set myself up on here as I've somehow acquired various skills throughout the years whether they be academic, sport related or creative. I've always shared my knowledge with friends and family so why not turn that love for teaching into a side project? I've been on the other end in the past so I know what makes a good teacher vs a bad one. I'll make sure that when we work together, you feel as if you really gain value from what we do. I've lived abroad for most of my life, being thrown in the deep end from a young age obliged me to get on board and do what needed to be done in order to perfect the language. If you put your mind to it, go about it in a smart way and want it bad enough, you'll end up making it happen. I'm here to help you get there.

When learning French as a very young child, and discussing this subject with older people trying their hardest to learn the language, I found that most people are able to understand written and some oral at a reasonable standard but struggle expressing themselves and formulating sentences. I believe that the best way to learn a language is to hear and force yourself to speak it. Of course, the basic theory and structure of a language is needed in order to express yourself, but this method has proved to work with me rather well with French and Spanish. Therefore, I use a good amount of audio material accompanied by written, which is needed for vocabulary and grammar reasons.
