About Kate
French is FUN TO LEARN! My classes strive to make the learning 3 things: practically applicable material; individualized curriculum build, and; FUN! Creative art projects built around important historical figures and events, game-show style quizzes and tests, writing/reading assignments where the student gets to choose their subject material and then translate and discuss with teacher and others. Multimedia modalities are used frequently!

Sentence structure focus to improve writing skills, alongside creative projects that expand students' understanding of historical and cultural aspects of French & French Canadian culture. This training has a social studies/world history aspect that also helps to support learning in those core curricular studies.
