About Alba
Possessing a Master of Music in Guitar Performance from Eastman School of Music has shaped how I analyze complex string mechanics. Teaching violin requires more patience than I ever imagined when I started 9 years ago.
I focus heavily on intonation and bowing technique for all my students. Helping people prepare for ABRSM or Trinity grade exams is a core part of my practice.
I also emphasize rhythm, timing, and left-hand agility to ensure steady development. Shifting positions and tuning by ear are essential skills we cover together. It is satisfying to see students develop their tone production.

I spend time identifying exactly where your bow arm needs more support before we start the repertoire. 45 students have successfully advanced through my rigorous technical training. We start with the basics of posture to ensure long term comfort while playing. I draw on my academic training to provide thoughtful feedback throughout your performance.
I keep a 9.0 satisfaction score because I value consistent improvement over rushed goals. Ear training is woven into the middle of every session to sharpen your listening. Small adjustments to your grip often fix larger issues with clarity. Let me know when you are ready to start playing.
