About Marie
Dynamics and expression set the stage for a beautiful musical performance. Piano keys feel like an extension of my hands after graduating from Berklee and spending 13 years in musical theater.
These skills help me guide 426 students toward their musical milestones. Sight reading and scales and arpeggios remain central to my daily teaching. Sight transposition is another tool I share with students aiming for grade exam prep like ABRSM or Trinity. Watching a student reach their specific goal is what drives my work forward.

Playing music should feel like a conversation rather than a rigid task. Because I accompany my own vocalists, I bring a unique perspective to keyboard performance. We prioritize dynamics and expression as we work through the nuances of your chosen repertoire. My Berklee background ensures that you learn sight reading and scales with technical accuracy.
I treat every student as an individual musician. You will develop sight transposition skills while preparing for grade exams like ABRSM. It is a pleasure to see my students master these complex pieces. I find that sharing the piano bench is the best way to teach.
