I can teach how to construct garments, hand sew and embroidery. I have worked and volunteered in the past as a sewing teacher at a non profit organisation.

About Honey
I taught a group of young people how to construct garments from scratch using sewing machines, how to hand sew and embroider. Nearly all of my students were complete beginners and by the end of a week long summer course all of them had created a number of clothes and accessories.

I have taught children as young as 6 and can teach any age group. I use different methods depending on the age of my student and their experience. I like to teach in a practical way, first showing and explaining the technique before encouraging my student try it while correcting any mistakes. I can help students to decide what they want to make depending on their skill level, but it’s really important they have control over what they make and get to choose themselves.
