About Shireen
My name is Shireen Jacob. I am a passionate, hardworking and dedicated teacher with over 30 years of experience I have taught for 24 years in Durban ( CAPS Curriculum) and 7 years in the United Arab Emirates( British and American Curriculum). I have travelled extensively to over 25 countries and I would love to pass on my experience to my students giving them an opportunity to fit in globally. I am a brave ,strong independent women and would love the opportunity to inculcate these qualities in my students.

I get to know my student. Make them feel special and design activities that interests them. I make learning relevant to their everyday life. I’m an excellent combination of the old and new. Having taught online for the last year and half during lock down, I having improved my technological skills drastically. Through the use of Microsoft Teams I have delivered lessons using power point, live worksheets, interactive activities on the whiteboard, padlet and other smart learning tools to enhance online teaching.
