About Adam
Hello everyone! My name is Adam Haziq, and I’ll be your Business Studies tutor. I’m passionate about teaching and helping students understand how the world of business works—from how companies are formed to how they grow, make decisions, and adapt to changes. I believe learning should be engaging and practical, so I always aim to connect what we study with real-world examples. In this Business Studies lesson, my objective was to guide students in understanding the core principles of how businesses function and succeed in a competitive environment. I focused on explaining key concepts such as types of business ownership, the role of entrepreneurship, and the basic functions of management including planning, organizing, leading, and controlling.
I used real-life examples and case studies to help students relate theoretical knowledge to practical business situations. During the lesson, I encouraged active participation through discussions, problem-solving activities, and scenario analysis to develop their critical thinking and decision-making skills.
A significant part of the lesson also emphasized the importance of ethical behavior in business, as well as the impact of external factors like economic trends and government regulations. I aimed to instill a sense of curiosity and awareness in students about how the business world operates and evolves.
By the end of the session, students were more confident in applying business concepts and could better analyze how different factors influence business strategies.
