About Paromita Roy
In addition to tutoring, I have several interests that I pursue in my spare time. Throughout college, I was involved with research in a neurology lab studying Alzheimer's Disease, and was very fortunate to have our work published. Furthermore, I enjoy singing and was an active member of Suri, our bollywood fusion a cappella group. I am actively involved with HOSA-Future Health Professionals, a student-led, health non-profit organization and I am extremely interested in public health.

I have been quite fond of tutoring and have tutored elementary, high school and college students. The subjects I have covered in the past include math, writing, biology and hindi.
As a tutor, I am passionate about ensuring that material is not only learned but enjoyed as well. I truly believe that everyone has a different way of learning and comprehending information. I have worked with a variety of learning styles, be it visual, application or textbook reading, and continue to commit myself to identifying what works best for students. As a result, I work with students to find the right resources and learning techniques to assist them in their journeys.
