I absolutely detest the vague, ideological, topic-jumping mess that passes for English education these days, particularly in Australia. It's abstract, unstructured, and somehow proudly unteachable. “The Human Experience”? What does that even mean?
English deserves better. Whether you're into the canon or itching to break it apart like Zadie Smith, you need something solid to push against. I teach demonstrable writing techniques, literary structure, and how to actually get better at reading and writing.
I’m not here to drill you for your HSC. I’m here to make you fall in love with English — and get good at it.
