About Lily
I graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2023 with a first-class bachelor’s degree, having studied French and Spanish. I spent my year abroad living in Paris, where I worked for an NGO, and gained fluency in French. Although I spent my final year specialising in French literature and language, I studied Spanish through till my third year of studies, and am qualified to help students with their Spanish skills. I also studied English Literature at A-level, and am passionate about literature, film, and culture in general. Having gone through the process of A-levels, university admissions and exams relatively recently, I can understand how daunting and stressful it can feel, and am keen to offer guidance and support with whatever students may be struggling with!

I can offer help with both literature-based learning in French, Spanish and English (such as essay-writing, studying and revising texts / films, etc.) and language-oriented learning in French and Spanish (grammar, translation, speaking and listening exams, etc.). My teaching style is calm, organised and is tailored to each student’s individual needs. I have taught in schools, and consider myself patient and kind. I have experience working with SEN children.
