About Cameron
About me
Hi, I'm Cameron! I trained as a doctor at the University of Cambridge and worked in the NHS, but teaching others (whether tutees, patients or other healthcare staff) is something I've really loved throughout my life.
I’ve been formally tutoring students aged 11-18 for the past 10+ years, and have found huge value in helping people learn and understand things that they didn't before.
In my free time I try to learn as much as possible too (I’m currently trying to learn more about birds). I also like listening to a lot of different music and reading science fiction books.

Teaching experience
I have over 10 years of formal tutoring experience working in person and online with tutees from age 11-18 through agencies, summer camps and privately. This has involved both group teaching and one to one sessions.
I have worked closely with students over this time to improve their grades and confidence in their ability, as well as find a passion for (even small parts!) of science.
Many of my tutees have gone on to study medicine as well as other STEM subjects at top performing Russell Group universities, with many still keeping in touch to update me on what they're getting up to, many years later.
I concentrate on tutoring across science: biology and chemistry at GCSE and A Level, and physics at GCSE. I also specialise in supporting tutees across the whole medicine application process from initial application and personal statement to medicine interviews (including Oxbridge), as well as the Cambridge ESAT exam.
I find value in building a good working relationship with a tutee to help them fulfil their potential.
