About Clive
As English is the current global lingua franca, I consider it a linguistic skill that can be life-changing for students.
I am a Masters graduate and Cambridge Univerisity teacher trainer and have been involved in ELICOS teaching for 37 years. I have worked in Australia, Japan, the United Arab Emirates and Senegal in various schools, Vocational Education colleges and Universities.
I am adept at identifying student needs and goals, and at providing practical lessons towards the realisation of these. Seeing students succeed in mastering the English language provides me with great satisfaction.
In my free time I teach Yoga and am an Afro-Latin percussionist.

I am a specialist in General English, English for Academic Purposes and IELTS exam programs. I provide lessons that are tailored to individual or group goals and needs. Tutorial programs can offer an integrated skills focus or can be targeted at specific skills e.g. essay writing, oral presentation etc. Lessons are interactive and student-based with material based on current EFL publications or specifically designed to target immediate student requirements. Copies or lesson materials are provided as part of the tutorial cost.
