About Jin

As a second year Psychological and Behavioural Sciences Student at University of Cambridge, I understand what students have to go through, and the process is still fresh in my mind. I have had experience of delivering 1-to-1 lessons for 15+ students across different subjects. As an international student, I have learnt to be adaptive with my teaching approach for students from different backgrounds Here are some awards I have achieved alongside my A-levels results of A*A*A - 4th place nationally in the British Neuroscience Olympiad (BrainBee) (2023) - First Prize Winner (2023) Publication titled “AI-Psychology Connection: Unmasking AI’s Impact on Teenage Body Image and Mental Health” - Gold Award UK RSC Chemistry Olympiad (2023) - Gold Award UKBC Intermediate Biology Olympiad (2023) - Gold Award Cambridge Chemistry Challenge (C3L6) (2023) - Gold Award UKMT Senior Mathematical Challenge (2022)

About the lesson

I am currently a second-year Psychological and Behavioural Sciences (PBS) at Trinity College, Cambridge.

Last year, 2 out of 4 students (50%) I tutored went on to receive an offer to study PBS at Cambridge.

I am happy to cater my lessons for interview prep or any preparation for Oxbridge application and psychology in general. I am happy to teach A-levels content especially in mathematics, biology and chemistry, and aid any applicants throughout the process, starting from year 12.

Jin has been a phenomenal, patient, knowledgable tutor who guided me through AQA chemistry all the way from year 12 mocks to the end of year 13. Thanks to her continued support, I was not only able to achieve a very high A* (94%) but also scored one of the highest scores in paper 1 in the country. I found Jin's lessons to always be very comprehensive, tailored, and well-planned. She was very easy and fast to communicate with, which made planning/rescheduling lessons easy. I really can't recommend a better tutor!
