Ahoy!
I'm Daisy, and I truly love teaching. I want you to get the most out of your subject - whether it's the epics of Homer or Ted Hughes' poetry.
Exam results are important (and I'm here to support you towards those top grades), but it's also important that you feel motivated and confident, and derive enjoyment from the process of studying. Once we find your own way into the literature and language, all sorts of doors will open up - and studying can become a pleasure!

I adore teaching. I have enjoyed a13-year career in education as a Private Tutor, Classroom Teacher, Education Programmes Director and MD of a scholarship-awarding charity. I have over 600 hours' experience in private tuition.
I currently teach with the University of Cambridge for the Classics Beyond Borders programme. I also teach across the secondary school age range, from Latin and Greek for beginners in year 6, through to A Level and IB - as well as English at 11+, 13+ and GCSE and A Level.
I am also a writer, published in the Independent and Guardian. I'm working on a commissioned publication, ‘Women and Violence in Ancient Greece’, aimed at inspiring students beyond the constraints of the GCSE syllabus.
I believe that the Classics are to be enjoyed. After enjoyment, excellent results follow. Here are some of the successes my pupils have enjoyed:
