About Jake
I know how arcane and intimidating the Oxbridge admissions process can seem and, with changing priorities for admissions criteria, it is important to speak to a recent insider for the most up-to-date approaches.
I am very lucky to have had first-hand experience and unique insights into the admissions process, and I find it extremely rewarding to hone this knowledge and pass it on to others who can benefit.
I am currently studying for a Postgraduate Diploma in Law in London, so can tutor online or in-person in central London.

Having successfully coached 5 tutees through the Oxbridge admissions process over the last 2 years, I am confident I can boost your chances of getting an offer from a top UK uni. Subjects include History, PPE and Law.
In addition to having recently gone through the process myself, I have two unique experiences which have afforded me a great deal of insight into the admissions processes. Firstly, I sat as the student representative on my College's Education and Admissions committee, giving me first-hand access to the Admissions Director and an insight into the high-level policies concerning admissions criteria. Secondly, in my first year at Cambridge I was chosen as a sample candidate to help train new Cambridge interviewers and saw first hand the advice given as to how to select the best applicants.
I can assist with any aspect of the admissions process, including further reading suggestions, course and university selection, personal statement drafting, admissions assessment practice and, most importantly, interview preparation.
Furthermore, I can help with other admissions tests, such as the LNAT or TSA.
