About Sumedh
I am Sumedh, a Cambridge Economics graduate and Adam Smith Prize winner. My academic background is in Economics, with a particular strength in Econometrics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and empirical research.
I teach A-Level and university-level Economics, helping students build clear intuition, improve essay structure, understand models properly and apply economic theory with confidence. I also support students with dissertation writing, econometric analysis and Cambridge Economics application preparation.
My teaching style is structured, patient and rigorous. I aim to make difficult concepts feel manageable, while helping students develop the confidence and independence needed to perform well in exams, coursework and interviews.

My tutoring approach is structured, practical and focused on deep understanding. I help students move beyond memorising mark schemes by developing clear economic intuition, strong essay technique and confident problem-solving.
For A-Level Economics, I can support students across the full syllabus and share detailed topic notes, essay plans and revision materials. I focus on diagrams, model intuition, evaluation, data response technique and applying theory to real-world examples.
For university students, I teach Economics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and Econometrics, with a particular specialism in econometrics, dissertation writing and empirical research design. I can help students structure research questions, understand regression nuances and causality, interpret results and write with clarity.
Lessons are usually 60 minutes and combine explanation, guided practice and exam-style or university-style questions.
I studied Economics at the University of Cambridge, where I won the Adam Smith Prize for my dissertation, one of the top academic awards in the Economics course, I am more than delighted to coach students in dissertation writing and advanced econometrics.
My lessons are suitable for A-Level Economics students, university Economics students, and students preparing for Cambridge Economics applications.
