About Jess
I am an Australian, born and raised in Brisbane who obtained a teaching qualification at the University of Queensland before moving to Sydney where I taught at an international English language school for 2 years. I then moved to Lausanne, Switzerland where I taught adult professionals (bankers, medical professionals and IT professionals) to help them progress in their careers. Upon returning to Australia at the beginning of this year, I moved into a professional writing role. I have published numerous articles in lifestyle magazines and now work as a professional copywriter. I also speak French at a C2 level and love everything about language and linguistics :)

I have taught English for many years, at international English language schools in Sydney, Brisbane and Lausanne, Switzerland. I provide professional learning materials and understand student needs.
Our aim together is progress. I will help you to rapidly improve your English and adapt your personalised programme to best suit your interests and objectives.
My approach is personable and I love to get to know my students and to understand their personal learning journey and reasons for learning English in Australia.
No longer teaching full time, I now work as a writer during the day and happily offer my teaching services in the evenings and on weekends at my home in St Kilda.
