About Joy
I am a psychology professional with an Honors degree in Psychology, a registered counselor, and a Master of Science in Psychology candidate. I am motivated to teach psychology to contribute to academic development, critical thinking, and applied psychological competence. My teaching philosophy emphasizes evidence-based theory, ethical practice, and the integration of research with real-world application, while adopting a student-centered approach that supports diverse learning needs and academic expectations. Through teaching, I aim to develop psychologically informed graduates equipped for professional practice, research, and community engagement.
