About Natalia

I have taught Portuguese & English for over 7 years in professional language schools in Brazil, as well as within my own company (trustnative.com) focusing on language for Business.

I have experience teaching students from an array of professional backgrounds and corporate industries, and I have taught and developed students of every level, from speaking absolutely zero Portuguese to becoming Professionally Fluent, almost native!

Having founded my own language company, dedicated to professional language courses and corporate translations, I am also an experienced translator of English Portuguese, giving me a broad understanding of professional vocabulary and how this best translates between languages.

As I have also been a student myself of English, Spanish and Italian, I have been able to experience language as both the Teacher and the Student, which helps me to understand the challenges that language students face and how to overcome these to reach fluency fast!

Hi, I'm Natalia!

I offer Portuguese classes for Business, designed for students looking to develop their fluency and vocabulary, particularly for professional situations and doing business in Portuguese (Portugal/Brazil).

The difference between standard Portuguese and Portuguese for Business is significant and is comparable to the type of language/vocabulary you would find in English used in business meetings and professional scenarios.

Within my classes, we also practice a lot of conversation, to ensure you develop both the business vocabulary and the conversational skills and fluency, as well as Portuguese rapport building and other cultural aspects language.

My teaching method is very practical. I use the best books for your lesson needs and I also add additional interesting material to make sure my students continue to develop their vocabulary and fluency as fast as possible, while at the same time making sure the classes are fun and enjoyable.

Portuguese grammar, like all Latin based languages, can be complex, however my teaching method breaks it down into manageable chunks and enables you to become active in the language, quickly and confidently.

Cancellation policy: If a class is cancelled or rescheduled with less than 2 hours notice, a minimal fee of GBP 10 pounds will be charged.

In the first class (30m free) we’ll identify your specific goals and requirements as well as your current level of Portuguese. I’ll also show you the type of exercises and conversation work we'll cover, to give you an idea of my teaching style and what you can expect from the classes. This is also a great opportunity to ask me any questions you may have.
