About Vivek
I am a student at the University of Birmingham and believe that my experience of education may prove helpful to many students. While all my teachers said that I had great potential, I only thrived academically at A-Level when I finally found a revision style which worked for me and studied subjects which I was passionate about. I completed my GCSE's abroad in Qatar in a competitive environment and understand how difficult it can be to motivate yourself and will ensure that my students develop the mindset needed to prosper. As I grew older, I realised that traditional styles of learning are not always the best and that the most important component of success is discipline and this is something that I will instil in students.

I believe that there is no one style of learning which suits everyone and while some students may progress better from lecture style sessions and taking notes, others may advance more from visual learning. As a student, it took me until A-Levels to find an effective learning technique and once I did, i quickly began to fulfil my potential and change my entire academic course. As such, my teaching style will adapt depending on the student however all lessons will end with going through practice questions followed by homework to ensure that what was taught in the lesson is understood. The length of a lesson is 1hr and and while I have tutored younger relatives, I have no professional experience and therefore charge lower prices. I can teach Business, History and Sociology to an A level standard in which I achieved A*A*A along with all other general subjects such as Maths, English and Science to students in KS3 and below.
