-four years experience giving lessons in financial accounting, microeconomics, macroeconomics, taxation
-mainly individuals and groups on a few occasions
-90% pass rate in exams and results obtained
-great communicator, teaching exam approach and technique
-Tutoring first year and second year accounting students in Financial Accounting,
Management Accounting and Auditing.
-A 95% pass rate for all the students l tutored.
-Able to improve struggling students marks from 40% which is a fail to 50-55% pass mark within two to three months,
-l like podcasting, manga and anime

About the lesson

-Making my teaching statement brief and well written.
-Use a narrative, first-person approach.
-Make it specific rather than abstract.
-Be discipline-specific
-Avoid jargon as students are beginners in learning English as a foreign language so l try to keep it simple.
-Being sincere, unique, cheerful, open minded and patient with learners.
-needs analysis finding out why learners want to learn for a specific subject.
-what they want to learn, and what they are good at in the specific subject and what they are not good at in the specific subject.
-Planning is key but always have a back-up plan.
-Always review the teaching materials beforehand so that l am familiar with the teaching material, so you exploit it in a way that ensures you achieve the learning goals.
-Lastly establish classroom rules and make expectations clear to the learners.
