About Sagrika
Although I am at the beginning of my formal teaching journey, I have developed strong English communication skills through academics, leadership roles, and my professional career. I currently work as a Software Engineer in a client-facing role, where clear and effective communication is an essential part of my day-to-day responsibilities.
During school, I served as the Head Girl and regularly hosted events, delivered speeches, and represented the school. In college, I participated in Model United Nations (MUN) and was an active member of the Literary and Dramatics Club, which strengthened my public speaking, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
My teaching methodology focuses on building confidence through regular conversation, pronunciation practice, vocabulary development, role-plays, and real-life situations rather than rote memorization. I tailor lessons to each student's goals, whether they want to improve spoken English, prepare for interviews, communicate confidently at work, or enhance their overall fluency.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and continue to use English professionally in corporate client interactions. While I do not currently hold formal English teaching certifications, I am committed to creating engaging, supportive, and practical learning experiences that help students become confident communicators.
