My Approach & Methodology
I bridge the gap between textbook theory and real-world application. Using my 2 years of industry engineering experience, I teach students to think like actual designers.
My lessons focus on a Dual-Core Approach:
Exam Theory: Mastering core content, D&T maths, and decoding past papers.
NEA (Coursework) Support: Structuring design portfolios to maximise exam board marks.
Lesson Format & Length
Length: 60 minutes (the sweet spot for high focus).
Structure: 10-minute retrieval quiz - 35-minute core topic/portfolio deep dive -15-minute exam practice.
My Qualifications & Experience
QTS Status: Fully qualified school teacher with up-to-date knowledge of AQA, OCR, and Edexcel.
BSc Degree: Solid academic foundation in design and technical principles.
2 Years Industry Engineer: Real-world insight into manufacturing and product design.
