About Karen
Hi everyone!
My name is Karen and I am 24 years old. I was born and raised in South Africa. I feel passionate about tutoring because it brings me joy to see students understand something they previously thought impossible. I would genuinely go the extra mile to ensure each student feels comfortable and that the lessons are tailored to their needs. In my free time I enjoy various activities, such as, gardening, reading and hiking.

I feel it’s important to know how learners learn various concepts and to change my learning style based on what works for each individual student. I am patient and caring and would work with the student until they grasp a concept. I am a firm believer that learning doesn’t have to be a chore and there are various methods to teach something in an exciting and fun way.
