About Sean
Current (and lifelong) final-year student of computer science, informatics and mathematics. I have taken an interest and spend the majority of my time with computers, for as long as I can remember.
Eager problem solver and enthusiastic tutor. Born into a family of teachers (Mathematics and ICT), and am aware of current research regarding pedagogical approaches to teaching mathematics, and about learning in general. Ex-underachiever!

My personal learning strategy involves referring to digestible material to prime the brain for key information about a topic, using resources such as KhanAcademy or Brilliant.org for introductions. These are particularly handy as they have high quality, polished examples and problem sets to faciliate assimilation.
Most authentic learning happens through the act of asking questions, finding an answer, and solving problems through practice.
Having experience in the field of Computer Science provides a useful roadmap of industry-level concepts and standards, that can be fostered and passed on through the process of socratic dialogue and project-based paired programming.
