About Andrew
I am a British Emmy-winning composer and orchestrator with a career spanning major films, TV productions, and global releases. My work has been featured in award-winning films, blockbuster movies, and TV shows with millions of viewers. I have composed, arranged, and produced scores recorded in world-class studios, and my music has contributed to projects with billions in box office revenue.
Trained at London’s Trinity College of Music and the Royal Academy of Music, I built a solid foundation in composition, orchestration, and musical storytelling. But beyond academia, I’ve spent years in the real world of film and TV, where tight deadlines, collaboration, and industry expectations shape how music is made.
I teach aspiring composers, songwriters, and orchestrators how to bridge the gap between creative ideas and professional execution. If you want to write cinematic music, orchestrate for film, or learn how professional composers work, my lessons will give you the practical tools, insider techniques, and industry knowledge to turn your talent into a career.

Composition isn’t just about writing notes—it’s about crafting music that tells a story and bringing emotions to life through sound. Whether you’re composing for film, TV, or live performance, I teach you the techniques that working composers use daily to deliver powerful scores that captivate audiences.
With experience on award-winning productions, blockbuster films, and globally recognized TV shows, I bring a real-world approach to composition and orchestration. My lessons are not just about theory—they’re about how to apply these skills professionally, in everything from film scoring to songwriting and orchestral arrangement.
What You’ll Learn:
- Film Composition & Scoring – Writing music that enhances a scene & builds emotional depth.
- Orchestration & Arranging – How to write for real instruments & digital orchestras.
- Songwriting & Structure – How to craft compelling melodies, harmonies & lyrics.
- Industry Secrets – How professional composers get hired, pitch projects & build careers.
- Music Theory as a Tool – Learn the practical theory you actually need for composition.
Every student is different, so my lessons are custom-tailored to your strengths and artistic goals. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced musician looking to break into the film industry, I’ll help you develop your own professional sound and workflow—just like composers working at the highest level.

Perfect! Andrew was friendly, direct, and incredibly professional. He had a structure to our first meeting, asked thoughtful questions about my goals and intentions, and jumped right into to a demonstration of concepts (not to mention highlighting his expertise), which fully confirmed that he was the right teacher for me! I look forward to working with him more.
