About Alejandro
I've been teaching since 2001 and have trained hundreds of students since then. As a child I spent my entire childhood in an English school in Las Palmas. I was only 11 years when I failed the subject of music (flute). I did not study at all. One day after the test, my teacher (Mr. Harvey) an enormously long, thin guy stared at my neck and said: "Alexander, You'll pass, but never devote to music is not your thing ... "I still remember those words. Even then I knew that Mr. Harvey was wrong, because by that time I already liked music; shortly after I started composing my songs, playing guitar and singing. This project stems from my conviction that everyone can play guitar and sing. It does not take a genius, or be born with a special talent, on the contrary, sing and play can open doors to discover your talent.
Learn music like the great soneros in Cuba, the bluesmen in the United States or the savage tribes in Africa ... learn to develop our musical sense as the great figures of contemporary music: Elvis, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Bob Marley , the Rolling Stones ...
I mean, if you wanted was to learn music theory: this is not your place. You will learn some very basic and minimum standards so you can sing and play on your own, with no strings attached than those of your ear and your intuition.
