About Mal
I am a professional teacher with 5 years of experience teaching in international schools. Throughout my career, I have supported many students from different backgrounds in adapting to life in Indonesia. My lessons go beyond grammar and vocabulary—I focus on helping students build confidence in communication so they can interact naturally in daily situations. By combining language learning with cultural insights, I make sure students not only understand the language but also feel more connected and comfortable living in Indonesia.

My teaching style is fun and engaging, combining enquiry-based and problem-based learning to encourage students to think critically and explore actively. In a typical lesson, I create a dynamic environment where language is not only practised through speaking, reading, and writing, but also connected to real-life situations and problem-solving activities. What makes my approach unique is that I don’t only teach Bahasa Indonesia, but I also introduce students to the richness of Indonesian culture, helping them understand and connect with the language on a deeper level. I am flexible and adapt each lesson to the needs and goals of my students, whether they are beginners, advanced learners, or professionals at any level of study.
