About Romilly
For the past 11+ years, I have dedicated myself to helping students learn flute in a simple, enjoyable, and encouraging way. I teach school and college students and believe that everyone can learn music with the right support. My classes begin with breathing exercises, posture correction, finger techniques, rhythm practice, scales, and tone development.
As students progress, I help them improve musical expression and stage confidence. I feel proud whenever students overcome challenges and achieve their goals through consistent effort.
Along with flute, I also teach music theory, ear training, sight reading, beginner music concepts, and performance skills. My goal is to help every student become a confident and skilled musician.

Learning music should be exciting and meaningful. My flute teaching methodology combines Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to help students develop technical skills while enjoying every lesson.
Students begin by learning posture, breathing techniques, finger placement, rhythm, note reading, and tone production. As they progress, they master scales, articulation, dynamics, ornamentation, expression, improvisation, and stage confidence.
I motivate students with encouraging feedback and achievable learning goals. Communication allows students to ask questions freely and understand every topic with confidence. Integrity helps me teach honestly while respecting each student's learning pace.
Creative learning includes favourite songs, rhythm games, ear training, listening sessions, duet performances, improvisation, and musical storytelling. Besides flute, I also teach recorder, beginner keyboard, music theory, sight reading, rhythm development, and music appreciation.
