About Eliza
I am a certified meditation and mindfulness instructor with several years of personal practice and experience guiding others through breathwork and meditation. I approach each session with professionalism, care, and respect, creating a safe and supportive space for growth. Hi, my name is Eliza, and meditation has been a meaningful part of my life since middle school. However, I truly reconnected with its power six years ago after moving across the country during COVID. That period of transition brought meditation and breathwork back into my life as essential tools for grounding, healing, and self-awareness.
As someone adopted from a small village in Ghana at a young age, I experienced early-life challenges including separation, cultural displacement, and scarcity. Rather than allowing these experiences to define or limit me, I chose to grow through them. Meditation became not just a practice, but a pathway to self-compassion, emotional regulation, and inner strength.
Teaching Method & Techniques
My approach is gentle, supportive, and practical. I guide students through:
Breath awareness and breathwork techniques
Guided meditations for calm, clarity, and confidence
Mindfulness tools that can be used in daily life
Reflection and grounding exercises to build self-awareness
I meet each student where they are, honoring their pace and personal goals.

A brief check-in and intention setting
Guided breathwork or mindfulness practice

Meditation, for me, is not about perfection or escaping life, it’s about learning how to return to yourself. I focus on helping students reconnect with their inner voice and build an internal sense of safety and confidence, regardless of external circumstances. My lived experience allows me to teach with empathy, depth, and authenticity.
