About Larissa
Hello! My name is Larissa, and I’m Brazilian, a native Portuguese speaker. I’m passionate about languages and love helping people communicate better—whether for travel, work, studies, or simply cultural interest. My classes are practical and personalized, always focused on real communication. We can work from the basics to everyday conversations. I’ve learned to teach with the same patience I was taught, and here you’ll find a safe environment to overcome the fear of expressing yourself in a new language. I believe fluency comes mainly through conversation practice and contact with native speakers. As a Brazilian, I want to share my language and culture in a light and practical way.
In my classes, the focus is on real communication: learning how to express yourself in everyday situations, with patience and adaptation to each student’s pace.
My goal is to help you gain confidence to speak Portuguese naturally and spontaneously.
I currently live in the United States, where I’ve been helping many friends and acquaintances learn Brazilian expressions, vocabulary, and culture. This experience inspired me to start teaching in a more structured way.
