About Lara
I was born and raised in Brazil, São Paulo. I lived there until I was 17, when I moved to the UK to study. Portuguese was one of my favourite subjects in school and I would help some of my friends with the topic. Here in the UK I did A-level Portuguese language, in which I got an A*.

My teaching method is based on understanding the language in a natural way rather than the process of constantly translating words. Using texts and music which reflects the culture of my country are useful resources which I look forward to use.
This would be better for students who already have some knowledge on the language, who would like to improve their skills.
