About Bruna

Hello! My name is Bruna and I am a Brazilian-born, 26-year-old civil engineer currently residing in Australia. As a fluent English speaker, I understand the importance of mastering a second language, which is why I am excited to offer private Portuguese lessons to those looking to learn or improve their skills.

Having grown up in Brazil, I have a deep understanding and appreciation for the Portuguese language and culture. My experience as a tutor includes helping students of all levels achieve their language goals, whether it be for travel, business, or personal enrichment.

As an engineer, I bring a structured and methodical approach to teaching Portuguese, ensuring that my students receive a comprehensive and personalized learning experience. Whether you are a beginner or looking to refine your skills, I am committed to helping you achieve your language goals.

About the lesson

Hey there! I truly believe that communication is key, even if you make a few mistakes along the way. Luckily, I'm here to help you improve and feel more confident!

Fun fact: I have a degree in civil engineering and have even published seven articles in English (even though it's not my native language!).

I offer practical classes that are both enjoyable and informative, so you can learn to communicate better every day. We will learn about native expressions, as well as grammar and pronunciation.

Back in college, I used to teach math, and I've also got personal experience with learning English, which means I can help you with Portuguese too!
